Do you love your Job, or not!

Today has been a crazy Friday... I love Fridays, so even a crazy one is okay every now and then. But I am amazed at how many people told me today that they hate their job... This job... the SAME job that I have and absolutely LOVE!!!
I'm just amazed at perspective... Two people can be going through the same thing, and one sees it one way and the other sees it completely different... Has that happened to you?
I just wanted to encourage you today. If you find yourself in a job that you honestly don't like, then don't waste another minute being miserable... Here are two things that you can do today to change that situation...
1. Get another Job!!!
or
2. Get another attitude about your job...

Both of these are doable and I don't want to hear anyone out there say "I can't"... Yes, You... Can!!
Start today living on purpose... be intentional about everything you do... Live life with joy... find what makes you happy and do it... Don't spend another day being miserable with something that is SO EASY to change...
Ask God to help you. He will you know... You have to just ask..
I hope that you are one of those that LOVE what you do... If not, maybe this could be food for thought... and I wish you the best.

Can we dissappoint God?

I just received a fresh perspective from God that I'm meditating on and I wanted to share it with any of you who happen to log on here... Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

Here it is... Can we dissappoint God?

Stay with me here... I believe that God knows everything about us and everything that we do, have done, or are planning to do in the future, right? If this is so, then He already knows the outcome of everything we attempt to do...

If we choose to follow him in obedience, then he is gracious and ready to reward us with blessing...

If we choose to willfully disobey his precepts, then we miss out on a blessing by God, and in most cases, we may even have to suffer a consequence for that disobedience...

Either way, God knows what we are going to do, and if we don't do the right thing, does that cause him to be dissappointed in us? Or, does he not expect a thing from us and when we choose to obey him he rewards us for it?

This is a little confusing when we think about it, because we have all these things that as Christians, we're not suppose to do, right? These things are for our benefit and prosperity, not because God wants to control us and tell us to not do something... God can't love us anymore than he already does at the beginning of our existence... He loves us SO much and he never changes, regardless of whether or not we obey him? right?

I just want to wrap my head around this new concept of God and strive to not grieve him in anything I do, but to always seek him and pray for the opportunity to be used by him to accomplish a kingdom purpose while I'm still on Earth.

Just food for thought,
Lea Anne

Daily Quiet Time

I find the greatest pleasure when I'm curled up in a chair or fluffed up in my pillows with my Bible, Journal and a cup of coffee... I don't always do my Bible study in the morning, but when I have the time to Journal, that's usually when I do it. Saturday mornings are my favorite, when the girls are still asleep and Dana hasn't gotten up yet, that I can focus on journaling...
I would like to encourage you to keep a journal... I've got journals from as far back as 1991... and it is amazing how grown up I've become in the way I write. My journals are mostly prayers about my friends and family, or the things that I feel God is laying on my heart to desire, but some are of actions or attitudes that I may need help or forgiveness for... This is where I am amazed at the change the Lord has made in my life. I am truly a different person than I was just 5 years ago... So much more changed than 15 years ago... And just since New Year's, the Lord has done a lot of things in my life to change my attitude about certain people and problems in my world... I love the Lord and I love God's word... It speaks so clearly as to the things I need to be doing and thinking.
Right now I am studying Colossians... A great book on the true sovereignty of Jesus and what he did for us so that we can live forever with him...
I cherish my moments with my Lord and my journal... I just wanted to share my thougths with you today.
Believe the Lord for something GREAT today!

I've been in God's Country

I've been playing catch up since I got back from vacation from Lake Tahoe.. As soon as I can access a camera and download some pictures, I'll be sure to post them so you can see... There was such pure, clean, air and the snow was amazing... I've seen snow on other blogpages, but I'm not accustomed to it, so it still held a little bit of amazement for me...
I have missed blogging... it was in my thoughts as I was away, and it has taken me hours to catch up on everyone elses blogs... I kindof like it when it isn't updated everyday because it's easier to catch up...

I won't take up a lot of your time today, I just wanted to sign on and say hi...
I will ask for you to keep me in your prayers though... A lot is changing around me with work, and home and church, and I feel a little unsettled... not a bad kind of unsettled, just one that speaks of change coming.... I get that restless feeling every now and then and I know to be expecting something good from God... I don't want to miss any opportunity that comes my way...
Thank you for being a part of my life... I am so thankful for where the Lord has brought me and my family...
I'll post more of what's been going on after I play catch up at work.

Are you Believing God for something today?
I love you,

Lea Anne

Person of the week video

I just had to share this video with you that I received today.. I just teared up when I watched it and it reminded me that we need to express our appreciation to our service men and women much more than we do... Or at least much more than I do... I just am so thankful that I live in America, land of the brave and the FREE!

I'm also thankful that I am free in Christ...

Enjoy!

I've been Tagged!

Thanks Heidi,
I feel as if I've finally arrived in the blog world because I've been tagged by another blogger... I don't know much about the blog world but I do know what "Blog Stalking" is all about now... I love to read about other people and hear about their lives... I know more about these bloggers than I know about my own family members. And do you know how many bloggers there are!!???! Millions, I suppose... Well here is my 4th picture from my 4th photo album in my documents.... I'm so excited, because I don't even know what I'm going to find...
Here it goes, I'm adding the "Add image" icon...

This is from Ashton's folder... She LOVE's taking pictures of herself... She is 14 and I happened to look through her camera last night and she must have over 200 pictures and most of them are of herself... Gotta love that!

Thanks for the tag... I don't know how it's suppose to work, or if it's like a chain and I have to tag someone else, so if you want to play along... You're tagged...

I love you!!
